In Missouri this year they're trying to get the voters to vote on an amendment the legislature put on the ballot that will make ranked choice voting, and similar systems of voting, unconstitutional, by making a provision of the amendment that it will also make it so that only US citizens can vote in elections in the state... Which is already the case nationally and at the state level. Opponents sued to at least remove the redundant provision they're trying to sell the ballot measure with, but the judge ruled in the legislature's favor by saying that at the state level it was LAW that only citizens could vote but it had not yet been enshrined in the state constitution so it was a fair play. It's basically a shoe in to win. I would like to scream please and thank you. U_U
